About the IHSS Planner

What this is: a free, client‑side planner that helps IHSS providers and families sketch a compliant monthly schedule in minutes.

Why we made it: planning IHSS hours is hard—there are monthly authorizations, weekly caps (66 or 90 with exemption), plus special cases like WPCS mode. We wanted a simple tool that never exceeds your limits and prints a clean schedule you can follow.

How it works: you enter the month, authorized hours, who can serve whom, and any days off. The planner splits time across the month, enforces weekly caps, and then runs a top‑up pass that redistributes leftover minutes into weeks that still have room.

Nothing you enter leaves your browser. There’s no login and no server. It’s just math on your device.
